Responsibilities
- Develop preliminary design concepts for solar PV systems.
- Provide support and documentation to Estimating and Business Development teams.
- Develop detailed design concepts for awarded solar PV projects.
- Offer long-term design and optimization support for BESS systems.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize design concepts and layouts.
- Maintain a database for equipment used in solar PV and BESS design.
- Review utility interconnection documents and apply engineering principles for cost optimization.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or 5 years of relevant field experience.
- 2 years of experience in Utility Solar PV or BESS Design.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, PVsyst, SAM, ETAP, CYMCAP, PVSOL, and Python.
- Ability to understand solar PV design parameters and installation guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Positive attitude in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with creating engineered solar PV site plans and single line drawings.
