Responsibilities
- Utilize engineering principles to contribute to product designs and process improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop product features, tolerances, requirements, and specifications.
- Assist in creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks).
- Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Perform basic engineering analysis and conduct product testing to optimize product performance.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and educational opportunities.
- Analyze and recommend process improvements throughout the manufacturing facility.
Job Requirements
- Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
- Basic knowledge of materials and their properties.
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter possessing a high level of integrity.
