Responsibilities
- Work with software developers, systems engineers, and product managers to define System Requirements for SAE L0 - SAE L4 driving automation and safety features.
- Decompose external stakeholder Requirements/Regulations/Legislations into Sub-system requirements for implementation.
- Design test cases to verify and validate the System Software on Bench and Vehicle platforms.
- Execute Verification and Validation plans on test platforms.
- Document requirements and test cases using management tools like JAMA/Polarion.
- Generate automated methods for requirements and test case reporting.
- Communicate test results to relevant stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Robotics.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with vehicle-level Verification & Validation of software for AV, ADAS, etc.
- Knowledge of vehicle communication networks/protocols such as CAN.
- Previous experience or research in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) or Autonomous Vehicles.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding Python and C++ code; Linux tools preferred.
- Experience in autonomous technology and projects like SAE BAJA or FSAE.
