Responsibilities
- Define and design mechanical hardware and cosmetic solutions
- Prepare early design concepts and product architecture
- Procure and support prototypes
- Help build and improve new and current designs
- Work with cross-functional teams to define product requirements
- Prepare early design concepts, product architecture, and thorough documentation
- Support BoM creation and release
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in industrial design for class A surfaces
- Proficiency in CAD (especially in surfacing)
- 1-3+ years of hands-on, detailed product design experience
- Excellent CAD sculpting skills - complex surfacing, surface analysis, etc.
- Ability to work with large CAD assemblies and experience with CAD/PLM BoM
- GD&T knowledge and experience releasing 2D drawings
