Responsibilities
- Invent novel technologies for robotic warehouse operations, including loading and unloading trucks.
- Stay updated on developments in AI and leverage new technologies for robotics challenges.
- Develop technologies to improve perception accuracy, task planning optimality, and model training efficiency.
- Utilize foundation models and vision language models to enhance perception capabilities for various objects.
- Apply model-based and model-free reinforcement learning to create optimal task plans.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Pickle AI team and corporate robotics expertise.
- Solve open problems in robotics, applying advanced AI methods to real-world applications.
Job Requirements
- Graduate degree, preferably a PhD, in a field related to robotics and AI.
- Strong research and innovation track record, including relevant publications.
- Broad familiarity with robotics and AI technologies, with deep experience in specific areas such as reinforcement learning or robotic task planning.
- Experience with advanced AI methods applied to real-world robots.
- Excitement to work on complex robotics problems.
- Knowledge of perception models for segmentation and detection.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
