Responsibilities
- Assist in the specification, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
- Configure and implement control systems, including PLCs and HMI/SCADA platforms.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of instrumentation and controls.
- Maintain records of calibration and maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to instrumentation and control systems.
- Collaborate with the operations team to address equipment performance concerns.
- Support process improvement initiatives by optimizing control logic and upgrading instrumentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls engineering.
- Basic proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley preferred).
- Familiarity with HMI/SCADA platforms.
- Knowledge of instrumentation systems (flow, pressure, temperature).
- Understanding of process automation and control strategies.
- Experience with CAD software for creating electrical and instrumentation schematics.
