Responsibilities
- Identifying deficiencies in mechanical processes and developing improvements.
- Designing and developing prototypes.
- Analyzing and testing prototypes and revisions of devices.
- Collaborating with Project Managers for resource allocation and project requirements.
- Supervising CAD project drawings from junior team members.
- Developing and managing all phases of projects, including quality assurance.
- Preparing documentation of critical analysis and suggestions for corrections.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- At least 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in mechanical design.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional mechanical design aptitude, including knowledge of electronics packaging and thermal dynamics.
- Expertise in CAD design tools, especially SolidWorks.
- General knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing techniques.
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
