Supplier Industrialization Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

  • Lead discussions on Design for X (DfX) with stakeholders for outsourced parts.
  • Facilitate communication of product specifications between suppliers and Peak Energy.
  • Manage the implementation of manufacturing processes to comply with Peak Part Approval Process (PAP).
  • Assist suppliers with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) implementation.
  • Identify and drive process improvement projects at suppliers.
  • Help identify and assess potential suppliers through qualification assessments.
  • Work on high-impact projects related to energy transition and supply chain development.

Job Requirements

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD Software (CATIA preferred).
  • Ability to read Engineering Drawings and understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Understanding of traditional and non-traditional manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) & Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
  • Familiarity with Problem-Solving Frameworks (8D, A3, Pareto Analysis, etc.) & RCA/CAPA techniques.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with relevant internship experience.
