Responsibilities
- Act as technical lead for Peak's products.
- Lead system design and ensure successful integration across various domains.
- Define and maintain system-level requirements for distribution, enclosures, interconnects, cooling, and protections.
- Own system modeling and engineering through requirements definition.
- Oversee design-for-manufacturability and collaborate with supply chain partners.
- Own validation testing across multiple performance criteria.
- Ensure compliance with safety and certification standards.
- Partner with software, firmware, and electronics teams for product integration.
- Recruit, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary hardware team.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in hardware engineering with 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record in delivering high voltage and high power systems.
- Expertise in electrical system design and thermal management.
- Skilled in CAD and analysis tools, with hands-on prototyping experience.
- Strong understanding of compliance and safety requirements for ESS hardware.
- Excellent communication and team-building skills.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
