Responsibilities
- Act as technical lead for Peak's products.
- Lead system design and ensure successful integration across multiple domains.
- Define and maintain system-level requirements for various hardware components.
- Own system modeling and engineering to ensure cohesive product design.
- Oversee design-for-manufacturability and collaborate with supply chain partners.
- Own validation testing for mechanical reliability and safety compliance.
- Partner with software, firmware, and electronics teams for product integration.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in hardware engineering with leadership experience.
- Proven track record in delivering high voltage and high power systems.
- Expertise in electrical system design, mechanical/structural design, and thermal management.
- Skilled in CAD and analysis tools, as well as prototyping and validation.
- Strong understanding of compliance and safety requirements for ESS hardware.
- Excellent communication and team-building skills.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
