Responsibilities
- Acquire manufacturing equipment for Energy Storage Systems, including developing specifications and overseeing commissioning.
- Design and develop control systems for battery manufacturing processes using PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and other automation technologies.
- Collaborate with Equipment Engineers to integrate automation solutions into manufacturing equipment.
- Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for control improvements.
- Implement data acquisition systems for data collection and analysis to drive process improvements.
- Develop and maintain safety systems to ensure a secure working environment.
- Support troubleshooting and routine maintenance of automation systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Control Systems, or related field); Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in controls and automation engineering within battery manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of battery manufacturing processes and control systems.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI design.
- Experience with Ignition by Inductive Automation and Beckhoff PLCs.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
