Responsibilities

  • Acquire manufacturing equipment for Energy Storage Systems, including developing specifications and overseeing commissioning.
  • Design and develop control systems for battery manufacturing processes using PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and other automation technologies.
  • Collaborate with Equipment Engineers to integrate automation solutions into manufacturing equipment.
  • Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for control improvements.
  • Implement data acquisition systems for data collection and analysis to drive process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain safety systems to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Support troubleshooting and routine maintenance of automation systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Control Systems, or related field); Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in controls and automation engineering within battery manufacturing or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of battery manufacturing processes and control systems.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI design.
  • Experience with Ignition by Inductive Automation and Beckhoff PLCs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
