Responsibilities
- Evaluate manufacturing processes through analysis and collaboration with suppliers and production technicians.
- Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and preparing work instructions.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods and establishing standards.
- Recommend changes to enhance products and processes using continuous improvement principles.
- Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production costs and reviewing schedules.
- Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and industry networking.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related Engineering field with 5-8 years of experience.
- Advanced knowledge of engineering concepts applicable to multiple solution lines.
- Ability to apply continuous improvement methods to manufacturing functions.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM systems, especially CREO for modeling and drawings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to analyze data and draw valid conclusions.
