Responsibilities
- Perform assignments to develop professional knowledge and abilities, including cross-functional experience.
- Acquire on-the-job training in specialized scientific or engineering principles and techniques.
- Engage in various technical assignments to familiarize with the company's staff and practices.
- Gain experience with six sigma statistical process control fundamentals.
- Assist team members with specific analyses or portions of overall assignments.
- Attend internal trainings and apply learned methods and techniques for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results and participating in cross-functional projects.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or completed a degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.
- Completed sophomore year with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Fundamental understanding of safe laboratory practices.
- Basic knowledge of statistical analysis.
- Ability to work effectively on various scientific, engineering, and manufacturing assignments.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
