Responsibilities
- Lead DFM initiatives to optimize product designs for manufacturability.
- Collaborate with product design teams to enhance manufacturability and reduce costs.
- Analyze and identify opportunities for cost reduction in manufacturing processes.
- Identify and manage strategic projects to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and manufacturing staff.
- Communicate project status and issues effectively with stakeholders.
- Assist in developing inspection plans and participate in root cause analysis for design-related issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Proven experience in leading DFM initiatives and cost optimization projects.
- Strong project management skills with a successful track record.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
