Responsibilities
- Learn about inflight entertainment and connectivity systems.
- Use industry software tools such as Jira, JAMA, and Confluence.
- Contribute to the development of aircraft cabin wireless simulation.
- Create models for different aircraft types and cabin environments.
- Simulate Wi-Fi and Bluetooth performance.
- Validate simulation data results by comparing with measured data.
- Build a Raspberry-Pi based RF power meter for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth testing.
Job Requirements
- Willingness to learn systems engineering tools and processes.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol.
- Familiarity with software simulation tools such as IBWave.
- Undergraduate senior or graduate student in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- Experience in Python, Linux, and coding skills.
- Priority given to candidates with experience in MATLAB, Wireshark, or other networking analysis tools.
- Knowledge of wireless communication technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular, Satellite communications).
