Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipment of flame and heat-release samples to various test facilities.
- Evaluate data for variability across labs.
- Analyze heat-release and flammability performance.
- Understand and apply basic fluid-flow behavior concepts.
- Collect test results and enter data into Jama.
- Generate automated flammability statements and BOM outputs.
- Gain practical experience with FAA certification workflows.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a junior/senior undergraduate or graduate student in relevant engineering fields.
- Relevant coursework in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, combustion, and data analysis.
- Skills in Python or MATLAB, and experience with Jama.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret experimental results.
- Must be able to work on-site 5 days a week.
- Experience in fluids and heat-release fundamentals is preferred.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
