Responsibilities
- Develop initial design concepts for new aerospace products or modifications.
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software.
- Perform structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics analyses to validate designs.
- Oversee the creation of prototypes and coordinate testing efforts.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and internal quality requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including design reports and test plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience as a Design Engineer in the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and material science.
- Experience in conducting various analyses using tools like ANSYS.
- In-depth knowledge of aerospace standards and regulations (e.g., AS9100).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with project management experience.
