Responsibilities

  • Completes scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Develops project timelines and milestones; performs scheduling and forecasting.
  • Coordinates engineering work between operating divisions and general construction.
  • Inspects and monitors the work of contractors for compliance with specifications.
  • Makes engineering studies and analysis.
  • Recommends and approves changes in construction drawings or specifications.
  • Solves engineering construction problems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management OR 2 years of experience and supplemental education.
  • Valid California Driver's License or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, extended hours, nights, weekends, and/or overtime.
  • Experience in construction is desired.
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and/or database management.
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certificate is preferred.
