Responsibilities
- Researching, designing, prototyping, and testing ML-enabled robotic automation systems
- Developing high-level system designs for hardware controls using off-the-shelf devices
- Creating detailed pneumatic and electrical system designs
- Collaborating with and managing domestic and offshore integration partners
- Performing cost-benefit analyses for new mechatronic systems
- Writing technical specifications
- Testing and characterizing electromechanical and optical systems
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of machine design/mechatronics experience
- Experience with detailed design of pneumatic/electrical systems
- Strong Solidworks CAD design experience
- Familiarity with motion control components and hardware system design
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing multiple projects
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required
