Responsibilities
- Design engineering solutions for barcode and machine vision systems, including prototyping and circuit simulation.
- Develop electrical systems involving image sensors, SMPS, and custom analog features.
- Monitor electronic technology trends and assess their applicability to Omron products.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define product requirements and prioritize features.
- Ensure designs meet project specifications and timelines.
- Participate in design reviews and communicate designs effectively.
- Create engineering documentation and provide support for production items.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electronic circuit design.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes.
- Proficiency in design and simulation tools.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with power supplies and low noise analog design preferred.
- Familiarity with high-speed interfaces and EMI/EMC testing is a plus.
