Responsibilities
- Develop and validate wiring architectures for high-voltage propulsion and low-voltage control systems.
- Define routing and insulation/shielding strategies to meet aerospace standards.
- Produce detailed wiring diagrams and technical documentation for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with avionics teams for comprehensive harness design integration.
- Specify connectors and cable types for reliable signal integrity.
- Conduct testing on high-voltage harness assemblies to ensure reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve wiring-related issues through root-cause analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with EWIS or wiring harness design in aerospace.
- Proficiency in CAD tools for harness design.
- Understanding of EMI shielding and aerospace certification processes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities in a safety-critical environment.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
