Responsibilities
- Translate designs into an assembly process flow.
- Collaborate with EE, PD, and SW teams to build prototypes and verify functional tests.
- Generate detailed work instructions for assembly and testing.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and take corrective actions.
- Communicate proactively with designers to improve the design before builds.
- Support technicians in interpreting work instructions and prioritizing tasks.
- Identify opportunities for improving work speed and quality.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in product-focused mechanical engineering and precision manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as NX or Solidworks.
- Experience designing fixtures and assembly aids for prototypes.
- Familiarity with shop tools, CNC operations, and 3D printing technologies.
- Experience in risk identification and data analysis for manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication skills and experience in a collaborative team environment.
