Responsibilities
- Support contractors in maintaining and repairing equipment in shaft facilities.
- Perform inspections and testing of equipment.
- Provide access to facilities for third parties and conduct weekly inspections.
- Review drawings and submittals related to maintenance.
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
- Assist project engineers with evaluating engineering problems related to equipment.
- Comply with maintenance practices, policies, and procedures for shaft facilities.
Job Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in electrical or electronic engineering or technology.
- NYS Driver’s License is required.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at high elevations.
- Experience working in confined spaces is preferred.
- Familiarity with maintenance contracts and engineering problem evaluation is beneficial.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with operational procedures.
