VLSI Physical Design Engineer

The role is for a VLSI Physical Design Engineer at NVIDIA, focusing on the development of networking products from concept to tapeout in collaboration with teams in the USA, Israel, and India.

• Run integration flows to build RTL and conduct connectivity checks.
• Collaborate with front-end teams to resolve connectivity issues and implement design fixes.
• Run synthesis workflows and optimize for area, power, and timing.
• Manage the physical design flow from netlist to GDS, including STA and physical verification.
• Conduct netlist checks and formal equivalence validation.
• Enhance tool automation and streamline workflows.
• Document best practices.

• BSEE / MSEE or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in VLSI physical design implementation.
• Proficient in P&R, Timing analysis, Physical Verification, and IR Drop Analysis CAD tools.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, Tcl, and Make scripting is desired.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
