Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms, models, and methods for robotic manipulation and loco-manipulation.
- Integrate methods into real-world robotic manipulation systems.
- Co-lead and contribute to multi-person research projects.
- Engage with the academic community through publications and conferences.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams.
- Mentor interns and junior researchers.
- Work on debugging and enhancing complex robotics hardware and workflows.
Job Requirements
- PhD in Robotics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- At least 3 years of research experience after PhD; 5+ years preferred.
- Deep knowledge of robotics and AI theory and practice.
- Proven track record of research excellence with publications in top conferences.
- Exceptional programming skills in Python; familiarity with C++, CUDA, and Warp is a plus.
- Experience with robotics frameworks like ROS2 and physics simulation frameworks.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
