Responsibilities
- Lead and manage autonomous system projects from concept to deployment, ensuring deliverables meet standards.
- Collaborate with teams across perception, behavior, localization, mapping, systems, and operations.
- Supervise the development of decision-making algorithms for autonomous interaction with environments.
- Oversee testing and validation of autonomous systems in real-world environments and simulations.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to autonomy, including sensor failures and system malfunctions.
- Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and challenges.
- Implement agile project management practices to meet technical milestones within timelines and budgets.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical field (Computer Engineering/Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Math/Physics).
- 5+ years of experience managing technical projects in autonomy or robotics.
- Experience with autonomous AI systems and integrating hardware/software components.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, sensors (LIDAR, cameras, radar), and data fusion techniques.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively.
- Strong understanding of agile project management principles.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills for conveying technical information.
