Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test new products and improvements.
- Perform drawing releases to production and provide support with engineering layouts.
- Use SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM for design tasks.
- Produce specifications for products and select raw materials for production.
- Collaborate with various departments including Quality, Electrical, and Sales.
- Provide feedback to production floor employees and improve drawings as needed.
- Develop equipment layout designs for customers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
- 6-10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience with SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM; AutoCAD is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced R&D environment.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles.
- Physical ability to work at a desk and on a computer for prolonged periods.
