Responsibilities
- Support the Engineering Manager in developing designs for new spiral mill machinery and components.
- Perform feasibility studies, engineering calculations, and cost-performance evaluations.
- Create accurate 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D teams to build and test prototypes.
- Conduct stress, thermal, and vibration analysis to validate designs.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing designs and implement approved improvements.
- Ensure all designs meet applicable standards and internal quality protocols.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in industrial machinery.
- Proficient in 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor).
- Experience with PDM systems (e.g., SolidWorks PDM, Autodesk Vault).
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical systems.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities across technical and non-technical teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance regulations.
