Responsibilities

  • Write, interpret, allocate, and tailor E3 requirements for design levels.
  • Present E3 issues at design reviews to internal and external customers.
  • Develop E3 design guidelines and perform analyses using EMI principles.
  • Design ground systems, chassis, and harness shielding, and select interface circuitry.
  • Prepare and review E3 test procedures, reports, and control plans.
  • Participate in E3 testing and ensure compliance with governmental standards.
  • Train and mentor less experienced E3 engineers and develop E3 engineering processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with relevant experience (2 years for Systems Engineer, 5 years for Principal Systems Engineer).
  • Ability to maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Experience with MIL-STD-464 or MIL-STD-461.
  • Background in RF, Test, or design engineering.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electromagnetics.
  • Experience in EMI filters, circuit layout, and E3 compliance.
  • Knowledge of modeling and simulation software for E3.
