Responsibilities
- Write, interpret, allocate, and tailor E3 requirements for design levels.
- Present E3 issues at design reviews to internal and external customers.
- Develop E3 design guidelines and perform analyses using EMI principles.
- Design ground systems, chassis, and harness shielding, and select interface circuitry.
- Prepare and review E3 test procedures, reports, and control plans.
- Participate in E3 testing and ensure compliance with governmental standards.
- Train and mentor less experienced E3 engineers and develop E3 engineering processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with relevant experience (2 years for Systems Engineer, 5 years for Principal Systems Engineer).
- Ability to maintain a Secret clearance.
- Experience with MIL-STD-464 or MIL-STD-461.
- Background in RF, Test, or design engineering.
- Preferred: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electromagnetics.
- Experience in EMI filters, circuit layout, and E3 compliance.
- Knowledge of modeling and simulation software for E3.
