Responsibilities

  • Writing, interpreting, and flowing down E3 requirements to design levels.
  • Presenting E3 issues at design reviews to internal and external customers.
  • Developing E3 design guidelines and performing analyses using EMI principles.
  • Designing ground systems, chassis and harness shielding, and EMI filters.
  • Preparing and reviewing E3 test procedures and technical analyses.
  • Participating in E3 testing in accordance with governmental standards.
  • Training and mentoring less experienced E3 engineers.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in relevant engineering roles.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Experience with MIL-STD-461 or MIL-STD-464.
  • Background in RF, test, or design engineering.
  • Preferred degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electromagnetics.
  • Knowledge of EMI filters, circuit layout, and E3 compliance practices.
