Responsibilities
- Conducting static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of airframe structures and mechanical systems.
- Ensuring designs meet program requirements while optimizing for weight, cost, and quality.
- Deriving non-flight applied loads and performing weight and stiffness optimization using FEMAP, NX, and Teamcenter.
- Collaborating within a team environment to prioritize and adjust tasks to meet project goals.
- Analyzing complex problems and developing effective solutions.
- Utilizing automated methods and procedures for structural analysis.
- Maintaining compliance with program funding and clearance requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years (Principal) or 8 years (Senior Principal) of aerospace structural analysis experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government Secret clearance.
- Preferred experience in structural analysis related to airframe, crew systems, or structural integrity.
- Active DoD Secret clearance is a plus.
