Responsibilities
- Perform static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structures and mechanical systems.
- Ensure designs meet program requirements, optimizing for weight, cost, and quality.
- Derive non-flight applied loads and perform weight and stiffness optimization using various software tools.
- Collaborate in a team environment and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Contribute to achieving project results within schedule and budget objectives.
- Maintain and transfer necessary security clearances for the position.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of aerospace structural analysis experience or a Master's degree with no experience for Structural Engineer level.
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience for Principal Structural Engineer level.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government Secret clearance.
- Preferred experience in airframe, crew systems, subsystems, and structural integrity.
- Active, in-scope DoD Secret clearance is advantageous.
