Responsibilities
- Review designs for compliance with technical requirements.
- Coordinate design criteria with internal customers and vendors.
- Evaluate design factors including manufacturing ease, cost, safety, and maintenance.
- Identify design errors and recommend revisions or improvements.
- Analyze damage tolerance, durability, and structural modeling.
- Deliver engaging, data-driven presentations to leadership and customers.
- Lead and mentor engineers during design reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of experience, or a Master’s with 10 years, or a Ph.D. with 8 years of experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software, specifically NX10 and GD&T.
- Ability to work flexible hours to support flight test schedules.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Preferred experience in structural testing across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
