Responsibilities
- Lead and support the development and integration of radar subsystems to meet mission objectives.
- Develop, analyze, mature, and implement requirements translating customer needs into specifications.
- Conduct functional and performance analyses and detailed trade studies.
- Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with product teams and program stakeholders.
- Manage technical partnerships and supplier relations for system integration and testing.
- Execute informal and formal testing of subsystem requirements in the lab and during aircraft ground and flight tests.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 14 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 12 years, or a Ph.D. with 9 years of experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Knowledge of electromagnetics in the RF spectrum and experience with RADAR subsystems for airborne platforms.
- Experience in requirements decomposition and working on multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with technical and programmatic representatives.
- Problem-solving skills and experience with RF antenna design and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with model-based systems engineering and performance analysis tools.
