Responsibilities

  • Lead engine performance and cycle analysis.
  • Design and integrate subsonic and supersonic inlets and exhausts.
  • Interface with external engine suppliers and manage their activities.
  • Define system requirements and provide status on programs.
  • Develop and present program-related materials.
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical peer reviews.
  • Collaborate on complex technical problems and innovative solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience, or a Master's with 10 years, or a PhD with 8 years.
  • Knowledge of Air Breathing Propulsion for aircraft or missile systems.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain SAP clearance.
  • Preferred: 10+ years in Aeronautical Air Breathing Propulsion.
  • Experience in hypersonic design and analysis.
  • Leadership experience in engineering teams.
  • Understanding of Systems Engineering Principles and Agile design methodologies.
