Responsibilities

  • Lead engine performance and cycle analysis.
  • Guide subsonic and supersonic inlet and exhaust design and integration.
  • Perform project planning to determine program requirements.
  • Interface with external engine suppliers.
  • Develop and present materials for program-related briefings.
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical peer reviews.
  • Collaborate on long-range goals and objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of air-breathing propulsion systems for aircraft or missiles.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
  • Experience in aeronautical engineering and hypersonic design preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-discipline collaboration.
  • Experience with Agile design teams and Systems Engineering principles.
