Responsibilities
- Lead engine performance and cycle analysis.
- Guide subsonic and supersonic inlet and exhaust design and integration.
- Perform project planning to determine program requirements.
- Interface with external engine suppliers.
- Develop and present materials for program-related briefings.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical peer reviews.
- Collaborate on long-range goals and objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience or equivalent.
- Knowledge of air-breathing propulsion systems for aircraft or missiles.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
- Experience in aeronautical engineering and hypersonic design preferred.
- Strong communication skills for cross-discipline collaboration.
- Experience with Agile design teams and Systems Engineering principles.
