Responsibilities
- Lead engine performance and cycle analysis.
- Design and integrate subsonic and supersonic inlets and exhausts.
- Interface with external engine suppliers and manage their activities.
- Define system requirements and provide status on programs.
- Develop and present program-related materials.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical peer reviews.
- Collaborate on complex technical problems and innovative solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience, or a Master's with 10 years, or a PhD with 8 years.
- Knowledge of Air Breathing Propulsion for aircraft or missile systems.
- Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain SAP clearance.
- Preferred: 10+ years in Aeronautical Air Breathing Propulsion.
- Experience in hypersonic design and analysis.
- Leadership experience in engineering teams.
- Understanding of Systems Engineering Principles and Agile design methodologies.
