Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts for optimal manufacturing techniques.
  • Participate in tool design reviews for feasibility and cost reduction.
  • Identify manufacturing processes and tooling requirements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Research and develop process training as necessary.
  • Define operations sequence for product builds and initiate corrective actions for non-conforming products.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership, customers, and suppliers.
  • Mentor and build technical networks while providing innovative techniques for product design improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 12 years or Master’s degree with 10 years of related engineering experience.
  • Experience in NX, Catia, CAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Active DOD Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain Special Access Program clearance.
  • Preferred degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with 2-D/3-D drawings, aerospace manufacturing, and hands-on production assembly.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and ERP systems.
