Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts for optimal manufacturing techniques.
- Participate in tool design reviews for feasibility and cost reduction.
- Identify manufacturing processes and tooling requirements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Research and develop process training as necessary.
- Define operations sequence for product builds and initiate corrective actions for non-conforming products.
- Communicate effectively with leadership, customers, and suppliers.
- Mentor and build technical networks while providing innovative techniques for product design improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 12 years or Master’s degree with 10 years of related engineering experience.
- Experience in NX, Catia, CAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Active DOD Secret security clearance.
- Ability to obtain/maintain Special Access Program clearance.
- Preferred degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with 2-D/3-D drawings, aerospace manufacturing, and hands-on production assembly.
- Knowledge of GD&T and ERP systems.
