Responsibilities
- Lead the installation of mechanical PDPs and equipment installations for various test articles.
- Oversee design execution across multiple projects and manufacturing sites.
- Design secondary structures and assemblies using various materials for aircraft.
- Provide technical feedback, host design reviews, and ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
- Collaborate within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.
- Maintain configuration management and support leadership in identifying technical risks.
- Ensure adherence to PDP release efficiency and quality design standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of engineering experience or equivalent advanced degrees with reduced experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Familiarity with air vehicle equipment installations and harness fabrication processes.
- Proficiency in Siemens NX or similar 3D modeling software.
- Understanding of GD&T and MBE methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and solve complex engineering problems.
