Responsibilities
- Develop aircraft electrical wiring designs, selecting appropriate conductors and components.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as SAE AS 50881 and IPC/WHMA-A-620.
- Design electrical wiring interconnection systems (EWIS) using ECAD software tools.
- Collaborate with harness fabrication shops.
- Work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team.
- Adapt to a fast-paced work environment with diverse assignments.
- Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance and work towards a Top Secret clearance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 10 years of experience.
- Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) with a recent background investigation.
- Experience with military aircraft subsystem development is preferred.
- Familiarity with EMI shielding and separation requirements.
- Proficiency in ECAD software tools such as Siemens Capital Harness or equivalent.
- Ability to work in collaborative/team settings across all levels.
- Capability to handle high expectations and diverse assignments.
