Staff Electrical Engineer – Electrical Systems and C&DH - Dulles or Gilbert - R10192082

The role involves serving as a technical leader for Electrical Systems and Command & Data Handling (C&DH) at Northrop Grumman, focusing on the design and architecture of electrical systems for spacecraft, ensuring they meet customer requirements and managing project execution.

• Develop and evaluate C&DH electrical system architecture alternatives.
• Analyze and decompose customer requirements into specifications.
• Manage electrical interfaces and develop interconnect/block diagrams.
• Oversee technical planning and validation efforts for C&DH systems.
• Provide technical coordination with vendors and suppliers.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for electrical systems.
• Contribute to assembly integration and test activities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM area (preferably Electrical Engineering) with 14 years of relevant experience.
• Technical experience in Electrical Systems or C&DH subsystem Engineering.
• Experience with flight hardware development and related documentation.
• Strong hands-on mentality and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
• Preferred experience in leading engineering teams and managing schedules.
• Familiarity with requirements tracking tools and digital design.
• Strong communication skills and experience with project tracking tools.
