Responsibilities
- Develop flight critical system design for aircraft control.
- Create architecture design with optimized redundancy levels and fault management.
- Communicate with subsystems to define interfaces to the Vehicle Management Computer.
- Document Vehicle Management System physical architecture.
- Specify test requirements for VMS system level performance.
- Develop product specifications for subsystem procurement.
- Mentor junior VMS engineers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 8 years or Master’s Degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in design, development, and integration of Air Vehicle systems in military aerospace.
- Advanced systems development and integration test experience.
- Integrated Hardware/Software validation experience.
- Ability to maintain a Secret clearance.
- Preferred experience with CAMEO design suite and engineering modeling code.
