Responsibilities
- Ownership of the technical baseline and oversight of technical activities across multiple contracts.
- Maintain cognizance over requirements development, hardware/software design, integration, and verification/validation activities.
- Solve technical problems and provide executable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers.
- Chair technical meetings such as requirements and design reviews.
- Support program reviews and assist in resolving engineering challenges.
- Drive process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM-related discipline with 16 years of experience, or 14 years with a master’s degree, or 12 years with a Ph.D.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and sound judgment skills.
- Well-versed in system engineering processes.
- Experience in leading design, production, and integration of complex systems.
- Background in aerospace systems and knowledge of missile systems and avionics.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Active DoD Secret clearance required.
