Responsibilities
- Design and integrate Crew Systems/Cockpit components (e.g., Escape Systems, Cockpit Furnishings).
- Develop mockups and simulators for cockpit and workstation layouts.
- Perform trade studies and make recommendations based on findings.
- Manage risks, issues, and opportunities in design tasks.
- Utilize NX and Teamcenter for design tasks and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with GD&T requirements for manufacturability.
- Adapt to changes in aircraft configuration effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline.
- 5+ years (Principal) or 8+ years (Sr. Principal) of engineering experience.
- Experience in aircraft crew/cockpit design and 3D CAD software.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Familiarity with NX CAD software and military airworthiness certification.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
