Responsibilities
- Facilitate the mechanical design life cycle from concept to system integration for test lab equipment.
- Collaborate across disciplines in developing test lab designs.
- Procure hardware to support mechanical designs.
- Serve as the point of contact with vendors and technician teams for fabrication and installation of test lab equipment.
- Utilize CAD software for design activities.
- Ensure compliance with security clearance requirements.
- Engage in self-motivated and proactive work to enhance services.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in a STEM discipline.
- 5-8 years of related professional/military experience depending on the level.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Ability to maintain a Secret clearance.
- Preferred experience with CATIA and TeamCenter Engineer.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
