Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts and generate solid models
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on technical, schedule, and cost requirements
- Conduct trade studies to select and evaluate design approaches
- Oversee generation of engineering drawings using GD&T practices
- Identify procurement needs and support fabrication
- Provide assembly checkout and test support
- Generate task plans and support proposal efforts
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline
- Relevant work experience (2 years for Level 2, 5 years for Level 3)
- Experience in machine design and drawing generation
- Ability to plan tasks and execute to schedule
- US citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance
- Preferred experience with CAD modeling and GD&T standards
