Responsibilities
- Provide guidance on design concepts to optimize manufacturing techniques.
- Participate in tool design reviews to enhance feasibility and reduce costs.
- Identify manufacturing processes and tooling requirements to improve production efficiency.
- Research and develop process training as needed.
- Define product build sequences and initiate corrective actions for non-conforming products.
- Liaise with engineering to influence production costs related to various systems.
- Support safety initiatives in manufacturing processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 1-4 years of related engineering experience or a Master’s Degree with relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible shifts as required.
- Capability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Physical ability to perform tasks in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing and hands-on production assembly is preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and GD&T is advantageous.
