Responsibilities

  • Execute the electrical design life cycle from concept to system integration for flight test instrumentation hardware.
  • Facilitate cross IPT/disciplines collaboration in the development of flight test instrumentation designs.
  • Procure hardware in support of electrical designs.
  • Serve as the point of contact with vendors, manufacturers, and technician teams for fabrication and installation of flight test instrumentation equipment.
  • Generate technical documents and work with programming languages such as MATLAB, SQL, and Python.
  • Utilize electrical systems design tools such as CAD, Siemens NX, AutoCAD electrical, VISIO, and CATIA.
  • Maintain knowledge of electrical components, power design, and considerations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience or a Master of Science degree in STEM with 0 years of experience.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience in generating technical documents.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, SQL, and Python.
  • Experience with electrical systems design tools (CAD, Siemens NX, AutoCAD electrical, VISIO, CATIA).
  • Basic knowledge of electrical components and power design.
  • Preferred: Top Secret Clearance and experience with systems integration in a laboratory environment.
