Responsibilities
- Develop aircraft electrical wiring designs including selection of conductors and electro-mechanical components.
- Ensure designs comply with SAE AS 50881, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and commercial practices.
- Familiarity with EMI shielding and separation requirements.
- Design electrical wiring interconnection systems (EWIS) using ECAD software tools.
- Collaborate with harness fabrication shops.
- Work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team.
- Adapt to a fast-paced work environment with diverse assignments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience.
- For Sr. Principal Engineer: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government Secret clearance.
- Preferred experience with military aircraft subsystem development.
