Responsibilities
- Act as Responsible Engineer for Avionics Subsystem(s).
- Design, analyze, configure, test, document, and troubleshoot Avionics subsystems and hardware.
- Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to implement subsystem performance and environmental requirements.
- Develop design solutions for obsolete hardware.
- Ensure compliance with performance and environmental requirements.
- Maintain active DoD Secret clearance and obtain Special Program Access.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline; PhD preferred for Principal level.
- 2-5 years (Electronics Engineer) or 3-10 years (Principal Engineer) of related engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience with avionics subsystems.
- Active, in-scope DoD Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
- Preferred: Current Special Program Access and experience with Avionics Hardware Design.
