Responsibilities
- Develop aircraft electrical wiring designs and select appropriate components.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards like SAE AS 50881 and IPC/WHMA-A-620.
- Utilize ECAD software tools for designing electrical wiring interconnection systems.
- Collaborate with harness fabrication shops and troubleshoot issues.
- Work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team in a fast-paced environment.
- Address EMI shielding and separation requirements in designs.
- Contribute to various aspects of aircraft subsystem development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and relevant experience (5 years for Principal, 8 years for Sr. Principal).
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
- Familiarity with military aircraft subsystem development is preferred.
- Experience with electrical design of air vehicle systems.
- Proficiency in ECAD software tools like Siemens Capital Harness or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative settings.
