Responsibilities
- Perform detailed board-level digital and mixed signal circuit design.
- Conduct circuit analysis and simulation to verify circuit response meets requirements.
- Select component parts for stringent environments, including radiation effects.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to evaluate and modify designs.
- Write design and test documentation including analyses and specifications.
- Develop test procedures and reports for qualification testing.
- Oversee component supplier design, analysis, manufacture, and test with senior engineer oversight.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience or Master’s with 3 years in digital/mixed signal design.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and board layout.
- Experience with circuit simulation tools like PSpice or LTSpice.
- Hardware troubleshooting and software debugging skills.
- Experience in generating design documents and test plans.
- U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain/maintain DoD Active Secret Clearance.
- Familiarity with Cadence/Xpedition, Matlab, VHDL, and Python is preferred.
