Responsibilities
- Design primary and secondary aircraft structural parts and assemblies using metallic and composite materials.
- Lead and prepare engineering design solutions in an IPT environment.
- Collaborate with structural analysis, manufacturing, and materials processes.
- Employ GD&T and Model Based Engineering methods for airframe layouts.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and assist in developing best practices.
- Prepare and lead the development of Product Definition Packages.
- Interface with IPT/Program leadership, suppliers, and customers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
- Experience in designing composite aircraft parts/components.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government Secret clearance.
- Preferred degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency with NX Solid Modelling or similar 3D modeling software.
- Understanding of GD&T and MBE methods.
- Experience in leading design efforts and collaborating with technical disciplines.
